Changing the narrative through adventure, education, and advocacy.
Join us for a day of community and environmental stewardship as we engage in a hike and community clean-up! Come connect with nature, meet like-minded folks, and make a positive impact on the environment in this “no experience necessary” event!
Date: April 20, 2024
Time: 9:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M.
Location: Scarlett Mills Parks to Cruikshank Park
Hike Distance: 4.5 KM (we will hike back the same distance to Scarlett Mills Park post clean up)
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Scenic Hike: We’ll kick off the day with a slow hike along the Humber River Recreational trail immersing ourselves in the beauty of nature. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just starting out, this trail is for everyone to enjoy!
Community Clean-Up: Following our hike, we’ll channel our energy into giving back to the environment by participating in a community clean-up. Armed with gloves and garbage bags, we’ll work together to remove litter and debris from the trails and surrounding areas, leaving a lasting positive impact on the environment.
