Intro to Cross-Country Skiing and Biathlon

BGOW has teamed up with Highlands Nordic and Biathlon Canada to bring you a one-of-a-kind event!

Highlands Nordic offers some of Ontario’s best cross country trails in southern Ontario. Add that to the party that is the BGOW community further paired with the opportunity to try a new event, and we have a recipe for some epic fun!

WHAT IS BIATHLON

Biathlon combines the sport of cross country skiing and rifle (laser) shooting. In this case Biathlon Canada is setting us up with the targets, laser rifles and and instructors to ensure the safest amount of fun possible. When we are all done with the learning, we will have a fun race with guidance from the trainers at Highlands Nordic.

COST FOR EVENT INCLUDES:

Instructor who will provide a 1.5 hour detailed lesson to ensure knowlegdge, safety and enjoyment. In this lesson you will learn equipment basics, fundamental strides and tailored skills like hill navigation.
